Frank Thomas, nicknamed “Big Hurt”, is a former American baseball professional first baseman and a designated hitter in Major League Baseball (MLB). He was the best player in the world of baseball.

Early Life:

Thomas was born on May 27, 1968, in Columbus, Georgia to Charlie Mae Thomas and Frank Thomas Sr. Thomas’s family was working class.

Thomas signed a one-year, $500,000 contract with Oakland Athletics on January 26, 2006. Athletics installed Thomas as their daily DH.
